Metal cover strip

A rail cover strip made of corrosion resistant steel is available to improve the seal after guide rail installation. The metal cover strip is 0.3 mm wide and can have a maximum length of 50 m.

Flush cap Metal debris and other foreign substance can collect in the fixing holes of the rails and thus end up the carriage. To prevent penetration of contamination in the carriage, the fixing holes should be capped with perforated caps flush with the rail surface. Flush caps are made of wear and oil resistant synthetic resin. Various sizes of perforated caps for the counter sunk holes for hexagon socket bolts M3 to M22 are included as standard in the scope of supply. Flush caps are driven in flush with the rail surface with light hammer taps using a flat piece of metal (see fig. 25).
